Hi my name is Sophie bird. I’m originally from west Berkshire in the United Kingdom. I have been living in Australia for the last 6 years. I am from a horsey background. Both my sisters had horses so I was roped in from a young age. I also have two horses with here one a 8 year old ex racehorses. And another 5 year old welsh pony. I have varied experience working with horses from. Grooming on competition yards. Polo-groom/Vet IE technician and working with racehorses which is how I ended up coming to Australia back in 2017. After having my son I decided to step down from racing and look at a career in teaching. In the near future I wish to do my levels in order to obtain my teaching qualifications.
